The past two years have been a wild time. A never-ending pandemic, an economic crisis, political upheaval. On top of this we face trauma, depression, even spiritual oppression and attack. People are searching for something, anything to help. 

And there are so many options! Not just organized religion, but also “spiritual” practices: burning sage, going to a psychic, following a horoscope, using an evil eye, yoga, tarot cards, using drugs, etc. How do we discern which of these are actually helpful and which might be dangerous? What does our faith in Jesus say to these things?

In this study, we're going to be looking mostly at Acts 19 in the city of Ephesus and the spiritual transformation in that city. 

Attendees can expect a time of teaching coupled with open dialog, in which people will be able to chime in with questions and thoughts throughout the evening.
