TGH has been called to serve those in our church community as well as the greater Harlem context and on June 18th, during the Juneteenth Block Party we have the opportunity to do just that. 

Our partners at Juneteenth Freedom Fest are looking for people to volunteer either during the morning shift (to support with setting up), afternoon shift (to help with the flow of the day) OR for the evening shift (to break down). Each “shift” will be for a total of 4½  hours and the link to sign up can be found below:

Volunteers will assist with:

• Set up/Breakdown of activities

• Transporting materials

• Distributing water/food

• Stage management

• Registration table

• Shift & bathroom relief

• Street clean up

• Art & Crafts

• Oversee activity engagement
