THE REACH FUND
God is calling our church to REACH New York with the gospel of Jesus in 2026. He calls us to reach out to others, bringing relief, hope and His love. He is also reaching into our lives, rescuing us in our struggles, giving wisdom, and calling us to live authentically before Him.
The reach fund will resource several ministries in our church to help us get better at reaching people with the gospel. We want to offer relief, empower relationships, and bring some much needed renovations to our church. Our goal isn’t just to grow bigger, but to become better in how we live out and share the gospel of Jesus.
Below, you can see more details of how the reach fund will be used. Please prayerfully consider how you can invest into what God is doing & the vision he has given us for 2026 to help us reach the goal of raising $50,000.
RELIEF THAT REACHES: $15,000
Reaching people with the gospel means more than just concern for their souls - we must address their physical needs as well. In 2025, we completely used our benevolence fund before the year was over to help folks during challenging financial circumstances. As our faith family & our neighbors continue to face difficult financial times, we want to make sure that we are able to provide relief throughout 2026. Beyond our own local ministry, we also want to ‘pay it forward’ to help other ministries reach people with the gospel.
Double our benevolence fund from $5,000 to $10,000
Provide Monthly support to Ronnell Brown, DC Missionary: $250 a month = $3,000
Gift to Pastor Gregg Gober at Hope Community NYC = $1,000
Gift to Pray March Act 5/50 Campaign = $1,000
RELATIONSHIPS THAT REACH: $25,000
The primary way that we reach people with the gospel is through relationships. That’s why we want to invest deeply into our Women’s, Men’s & Couples Ministries in 2026. This will allow us to make space for time to gather, fund our annual retreats & invite guest speakers. We also recognize that our church is made up substantially by women, so we want to bring on a Women’s Minister, starting in a contract role. Finally, we want to make space to welcome more families in our Kids Ministry. We often have 10-15 kids on a Sunday and want to make space for 20-30.

Upgrade Kids Ministry by resourcing nursery workers
RENOVATIONS THAT REACH : $20,000
We want our Sunday worship services to get better at reaching new folks. We want to invest in a creative director to hone & communicate our content to reach our friends and neighbors. We want to make PS92 feel more welcoming by upgrading signage and hospitality. We also need to upgrade some of our sound equipment for a better worship experience.
